Hello Tigers and Lions,

On the front of your folder is either a yellow, blue or red sticker.  Please complete the activity with your grown up that matches the colour on your folder.

Remember to share your reading book or another story every day.

If your child has a phonics folder, please read daily.

English – In your workbook- Watch the ‘Rooted’ clip from yesterday – again just the first 30 seconds.  Talk about how Man Tree was feeling.  Do you think he liked the summer?  How do you know?

Red and Blue– How was Man Tree feeling?  What did he like about the summer?

Yellow – Ask a grown up to help you make your own sentences.  Man Tree felt…..

He liked the summer because ……

Remember to use phonics where you can.

Maths – on paper/card/or a sheet from your workbook.

Red – Blue – Yellow – You are going to be learning about time. Draw round something circular eg a plate/bowl/cup to make a clock face.  Write the numbers on at the correct intervals (copy from a clock in your house). Then make 2 hands to go on your clock, a big one and a little one.  Cut these out ready to place on your clock when we begin to teach telling the time.

Science: Follow the link below to find out what ‘minibeasts’ are.  Watch the clip then do the quiz underneath.
