Home Learning – 6.4.20

Monday 6th April 2020

Hello Monkeys and Elephants,

We hope you have had a lovely weekend. As we said on Friday, we will not be setting daily home learning challenges for the next two weeks. Today and Monday 13th April, we will set some challenges that you could do over the school holidays.

Here are this week’s challenges.

  • During spring, lots of animals have their babies. Can you find the names of these baby animals? Pig, cow, horse and sheep. Can you draw a picture of them?
  • Make a weather chart to show what the weather is on each day this week. You could write the day and draw a picture of the weather each day.
  • During spring, seeds begin to grow. In the story of Jack and the Beanstalk, Jack’s beans grow into a magic beanstalk. Tell the story of Jack and the beanstalk with a grown-up at home. You could even act the story out together.

Enjoy these challenges this week and look out for some new ones next Monday.

Remember you can still share stories together and keep practising writing your name, letters and numbers.

Thank you

Mrs Gascoyne, Mrs Hall and Miss Millward.
