I hope everyone enjoyed completing the home learning tasks yesterday. It is so nice to see some of your work on Purston’s twitter account.
I hope you are all happy and healthy and being good for your grown ups.
Here are today’s home learning tasks:
Literacy –

Can you recognise the sounds from our phonics sessions?
What letter does your name begin with? Can you write it down?
Can you write the initial letters of your family member’s names too? E.g. M for Mummy.
Communication and Language and Maths
Choose a favourite toy or teddy for this task. Hold it in your hands and ask your grown up to instruct you to put the toy ‘under’, ‘on top’, ‘behind’ or ‘next to’ an object or person. Repeat this in the different rooms of your house or in your garden.
Can you then give the toy to a grown up/sibling and you become the teacher? This means you give the instructions and they have to complete the activity.
Remember to share a book with someone in your family today.
