Good morning Kangaroos and Giraffes.

Phonics

Today in phonics, we would like you to make up some alien names, using the letter groups that we have been looking at this week –        ai and ay, oi and oy, ee and ea and igh and ie.

Can you write the alien names in your workbook and draw a picture of what the alien might look like?

Can you write a silly sentence about your alien?

English

This week we are finding out about the different creatures that live in the rainforest. Today we would like you to find out about a mammal that lives in the rain forest. Can you remember what is special about mammals?

Red/Possums/Blue/Green, Wombats and Koalas – In your workbooks we would like you to draw and write the name of a mammal that lives in the rainforest.

Remember to use capital letters, full stops and finger spaces. Take care with your handwriting. Keep it on the lines.

Yellow and Crocodiles – In your workbooks we would like you to draw and write the name of a mammal that lives in the rainforest with the help of a grown up.

Remember your letter formation.

Maths

Go back to yesterdays repeated addition questions. Can you draw the array to match the number sentence?

Challenge!

Can you create your own mammal that would live in the rainforest?

DT

We hope that you have enjoyed creating your very own rainforest this week; we cannot wait to see them!

Have a super weekend and have lots of rest.
