Good morning Kangaroos and Giraffes,

Phonics

Today we are looking at the letter group ‘oo’. How many words can you think of? Choose your favourite book, how many words with the oo‘’ sound can you find in your book? We would like you to make a list of the words in your workbook and read them to a grown up. Can you put some of these words into a sentence? Can you make a silly sentence?

Music

On Wednesday morning we have singing, sing your favourite songs to your grown up and with your grown up then make up a silly song or rhyme. Can you think of ways to make music using different parts of your body?

Can you clap out the names of the people in your family? Look around your house and garden; can you clap out the things that you can see?

Maths

Red and the Possums – Start by counting in 10s. How far can you go? Today we would like you to find ¼ of a number. You are not going to use objects today, this time you are going to record diagrams in your book. Like last week we drew 2 circles, this time you are going to draw 4 circles and share the number out. This is the video from last week, but remember this time it is 4 groups.

Science

Can you find out an interesting fact about the Komodo dragon?

What does it eat? Is it a carnivore, herbivore or omnivore? Where does it live? What is a group of komodo dragons called?

Don’t forget to share a book with someone today. Your reading is still important.

Have a lovely day.
