Today we are looking at the letter group or as in fork and aw as in yawn.
Have a go at reading these sentences:

Today we would like you to draw a rainbow and then in each section can you write words to describe your new teacher. Here are some ideas:

Maths
Don’t forget the Maths challenges we set yesterday. How many can you complete today?
Memory Jar
Can you find an empty jar in your house? If not draw a jar in your book.
Fill the jar with all your memories of Year 1. You could then decorate your jar and keep it somewhere safe.
PE
This week we would like you to plan your own sports day at home for Mums, Dads, brothers, sisters, Grandmas or Grandads to take part in. Today we would like you to plan the races you are going to have and make some badges/medals to give out.
