Good morning Kangaroos and Giraffes,

Phonics

In phonics today are looking at the letter group ‘ture’, as in picture. How many words can you think of with ‘ture’ in? Can you write the words in your workbook and read them to a grown up?

Can you say or write a sentence with the word ‘picture’ in it, and read your sentence to a grown-up?

English

Grab your snorkel and flippers and put them on, you are going on a deep-sea adventure!

We want you to imagine that you are a diver, look around what can you see?

In your workbooks, we would like you to draw and label the different things that you think that you might see as a diver. Will you see a shark, a jellyfish, an octopus, a sea horse or maybe even a shipwreck? Can you think of an adjective to describe the different things that you might see?

We are hoping the weather has picked up today as we want you to go outside and go on a plant hunt. Can you go for a walk in the garden or local area and identify different plants and trees. There is a sheet on the website if you can print it out. If not just see if you can find some daisys, roses, danelions, ivy, clovers.
