Phonics
Today in phonics, we would like you to make up some alien names, using the letter groups that we have been looking at this week – oa and ow, ue and ew, oo and ew and ow and ou.
Can you write the alien names in your workbook and draw a picture of what the alien might look like?
Can you write a silly sentence about your alien?
English
This week you have received your school report from Mrs Eades and Mrs Attwood, we are so proud of the fantastic progress that you have all made this year!
We would like you to write a report about your teacher!
Things you could include on the report:
- Things your teacher is good at
- Things that your teacher needs to get better at
- Something that your teacher says a lot
- A funny memory from your class this year
- What you like best about your teacher
- A picture of your teacher.
Remember to use capital letters, full stops and finger spaces. Take care with your handwriting. Keep it on the lines.
Maths
Today we would like you to add up values of coins.
Red and Possums/Blue, Green, Wombats and Koalas –
Have a look at the pictures with money in the jar. Can you add up how much is in the jars?
Crocodiles and Yellow –
We have put some pictures of ice creams below and we would like you to tell us how much they cost.
