Good morning Kangaroos and Giraffes,

Phonics

In phonics today are looking at the letter group ‘i-e’, as in slide. How many words can you think of with ‘i-e’ in? Can you write the words in your workbook and read them to a grown up?

Can you say or write a sentence with the word slide in it, and read your sentence to a grown-up?

English

On Tuesday, we asked you to find out about an animal that lives in the rainforest.

Today we would like you to find out where the animal lives in the rainforest, does it live underground, on the ground or in the trees?

Red, Possums, Blue, Green, Wombats and Koalas – In your workbooks, we would like you to draw and label a picture of where the animal lives in the rainforest.

Yellow and Crocodiles – In your workbooks we would like you to draw a picture of where the animal lives in the rainforest and have a go at labelling it with the help of a grown up.

Maths

Following on from yesterday, the part whole diagrams, today we would like you to now put these into number sentences.

13+7 = 20

Challenge time!

Can you find out what the 4 layers of the rainforest are called?

Have a lovely day completing all these activities.

From Mrs Eades and Mrs Attwood
